Guest post from a very proud father!
Don't know if some of you have been following this on my Facebook posts, but my 16-year-old daughter has written her first pulp story this month and submitted it tonight to Pulp Empire's Modern Pulp Heroes anthology.
She's incredibly excited and more than a little giddy with accomplishment at the moment.
I know I'm her dad, and I'm biased, but the thing is... she's really good. Surprisingly good. I really, really think she has a shot at it.
Anyway, fingers crossed, and please send her mojo. I know it would mean a lot to her if any of you wanted to post your good vibes to her below in the comments section.
Thanks. And be looking for her in the months to go, because she's caught the bug and is determined to submit to at least six different anthologies before the year is up, several of which will be before she turns 17 this summer.
Needless to say, I'm a proud daddy. Gushingly so.
Go kick some butt, Charis. I'm proud of you, sweetie.
Love, Dad

Question of the Week #1
"How did you come up with the idea for Grace the Amazing?"
Well, one day when I was at a con, I was sitting there bored. My dad was sitting beside me writing a script, and I got the idea to write my own. I was really into catgirls, so I decided that that was going to be my topic. I talked about it for a long time with my dad and finally came up with the plot. It was hard at first, writing a script. But, lo and behold, it came into being and I'm very glad that it did because it led me to write a full-length comic and get published.

Hopefully...
Just heard from my dad about some anthologies that are accepting submissions. I'm hoping to pump out 4-5 short stories soon, so I can have a chance at getting my name out. Hopefully I'll get accepted (:
Look at the links on my dad's page (seanhtaylor.blogspot.com) under the tag "submissions" to learn more about the anthologies!

The Script Is Done!
Grace the Amazing is now written and in the hands of artist Lucy Fidelis. I can't wait to see what she does with it.

Grace The Amazing 2 coming soon!
I'm almost done with the script for Grace the Amazing 2. All I'll have to do after that is send it to my artist, Lucy Fidelis.
I'll hopefully finish it today during school, since there's only 5 pages left to write!
